Dread Extensions
Dread-extensions are a great way to get quick, colourful hair, without damaging, cutting or colouring your own! Depending on your needs, there are two types of dread extensions.
Double-ended dread extensions are the easiest way to get big hair. A set of dreads is made (normally 50-60) with an undreaded section in the middle. This undreaded part is where the dread is braided into your own hair, and secured with an elastic band.
Don't want such big hair? Want long dreads but the weight is a little too much? Then single-looped dreads may be a better option for you. These are single dreads, with a loop at one end. Your own hair is slipped through this loop, then braided to keep the dread in place. So instead of two dreads hanging down you only have one, but these are sold in sets of 70 (enough for good coverage).
